This article is no coincidence. With the V28 upgrade, the core team’s official announcement is also imminent. Nodes must complete the upgrade before October 13, and the mainnet is expected to switch over on October 16. This upgrade improves delays in transaction data processing and supports grouped smart contract upgrades and secure changes to stored data, laying a solid foundation for application iteration.

What the pioneers are looking forward to more is the release schedule beyond the announcement: the timeline, developer interfaces, and ecosystem integration guidelines. Only after the infrastructure is stable will applications, trading, and real-world use cases have a foothold. If the information can be shared early and clearly with long-term participating pioneers, consensus will be stronger, and subsequent development will more quickly move from the protocol layer toward a usable ecosystem.
