The semiconductor sector is displaying massive structural strength as the artificial intelligence infrastructure boom pushes key players to historic milestones. NVIDIA Corporation ($NVDA ) leads the charge, carrying a colossal $5.76 trillion market cap and closing at $239.24 after touching an all-time high of $243.37, supported by doubling year-over-year data center revenues and an insatiable global demand for its custom computing architecture. Simultaneously, Advanced Micro Devices ($AMD ) has cleanly crossed into the elite trillion-dollar tier with a $1.06 trillion valuation, closing up at $649.42 (hitting local highs of $658.52) following CEO Lisa Su’s confirmation of exceptionally tight server supply lines and the massive $8.2 billion stock acquisition of World Labs to bolster its software ecosystem. Meanwhile, data center memory cornerstone Micron Technology ($MU ) provides the fundamental backbone for both giants; despite an intraday cooling phase to $1,045.56, Micron commands a $1.18 trillion market cap and trades at a highly attractive price-to-earnings ratio of 13.87 after logging an unprecedented $34 billion quarterly data center run rate, securing $32 billion in long-term customer commitments, and completely selling out its high-bandwidth memory inventory clear through 2027.
