#GTBurnsNearly2MTokensInQ3 #ShareWeekly $GT

GM ☕ Today's hot topic on my screen is the GT burn, so let me run it like a mini trial: bull side, bear side, then my verdict. No hype, just how I'd actually treat it as a futures trader.

The bull side says:
Nearly 2M GT burned this quarter, and the running total is about 191.9M, which means close to 64% of the original 300M supply no longer exists. What's left is around 108M. And it isn't a one-time show: over the last four quarterly burns, roughly 9.3M GT disappeared, which is something like 8 to 9% of what remains. A token that keeps shrinking on a schedule is rare, and long-term holders love that.

The bear side says:
Burn is a supply story, and price needs a demand story too. GT is still more than half below its January 2025 peak of about $25.96, even after all those burns, so the burn alone clearly hasn't been enough to carry price. Also, liquidity on some venues looks thin, so moves can be sharp both ways. A burn headline doesn't protect you from a bad entry.

My verdict:
Long-term, I lean bullish. The mix of a shrinking supply and a long track record of actually doing the burns is the kind of boring consistency I like. Short-term, I treat it as a normal chart, because the headline is already out and price sits around $11.2, just under the recent high near $11.3.

What I'm watching today:
Whether price can hold the $10.85 to $11.00 area, which was the low of the recent daily range. If it holds on a pullback, buyers are still defending it. If it slips back under, the burn headline didn't change the short-term picture.

My plan (my own view, not advice):

Long entry: $10.85 to $11.00 on a pullback
Stop loss: daily close below $10.40
TP1: $11.80
TP2: $12.50
If it closes above $11.30 and holds on retest, I only take a small starter, not full size
No short idea for now. I don't fight a token with this kind of supply story, I just wait
Leverage low, because thin liquidity means slippage

Check-in:
Mood is calm, positions are light, and the spot bag is untouched. Plan for the day is simple: orders at levels, nothing forced.

Do you hold GT for the long term, or are you only trading the range?
