#BTCBreaksThrough$86,000 #ShareWeekly

#PlanYourTradesThisWeek, $BTC

BTC tagging 86K and liquidating over $1B in shorts makes for a loud headline. But I don't trade headlines, I trade structure. So here's my full multi-timeframe read, from the big picture down to the 1H, plus the plan I'm actually following.

Weekly: Bullish
Yesterday's weekly candle closed above the 82K support (the 82,332 level on my chart). That matters more than any single day's candle, because it turns the old support zone back into a floor after BTC spent months below it. As long as weekly closes hold above it, the bigger picture favors a push toward the 97.9K area, which is the next major liquidity target above price. The big resistance zone sits way higher near 108K, so there's a lot of room if the weekly structure holds. My conclusion on the weekly: bullish.

Daily: Sideways, don't expect a breakout yet
This is where I slow down. The daily looks a lot like what happened in the middle of last month, when BTC accumulated in a tight range for over a month before moving. Price has been rejected near 87.4K several times (high 87,374, with my marked level at 87,481), and this morning's daily candle is still red. To me that says it's not the moment for BTC to break out of 87.4K yet. I expect it to stay held in the 82K to 86K range for the next few days. A breakout is still possible (price is dynamic and can move suddenly), but I won't pay for it before it happens.

4H: Uptrend intact
The 4H trend is still bullish. Price keeps respecting the trendline support, which is the thing I care about most here. As long as it holds, my forecast is a move up toward 86.5K to 87K, and that resistance zone lines up perfectly with what the daily is telling me. When two timeframes point to the same level, I take it seriously.

1H: The execution chart
I was long from around 83K yesterday, and I've already hit all the nearby targets for roughly +4.5%. The remaining targets only come into play when all timeframes break the daily resistance together. Right now the 1H is printing lower highs and lower lows, so no breakout yet. Two paths from here:

No breakout: it likely dips, but the max I expect is around 84K, which is the trendline support
Direct breakout: it probably gets held back around 86.2K, then stalls near 87.2K

The worst case I'm planning for
If BTC hits the daily resistance, gets rejected, and breaks through the trendline, the downside targets are the three green levels I marked: 83,316, then 81,811, then 80,701. I'm not calling this my main scenario, the main trend is still up. But I always have a plan if BTC fails to break out, because that's the difference between a trade and a gamble.

One thing that makes me careful: the positioning
After a $1B+ short squeeze, longs are now around 71% of open interest. That's crowded. Crowded longs fuel rallies, but they also make the market vulnerable to sharp flushes when price stalls at resistance, and 87.4K is exactly that kind of level. So I respect the squeeze, but I don't confuse it with a clean breakout.

1. Upside or better setup?
Upside on the weekly and 4H, but a better setup on the lower timeframes. I'd rather buy the 84K trendline retest than chase a green candle into 87K.

2. What I'm watching next?
A daily close above 87.4K. That's the signal that the accumulation is done and 90K (the psychological level everyone is eyeing) comes into play, with 97.9K as the bigger target. Until then I treat 82K to 87K as the playing field.

3. My move
Spot: holding. Futures: already took profit on the 83K long, so I'm not adding at resistance. I'll re-enter on a trendline retest or on a confirmed daily breakout, with a stop below the trendline.

For alt traders:
Use this BTC outlook as your reference. Alts follow BTC, so if you're opening new alt positions, wait for BTC's confirmation above 87.4K, or buy only at strong levels in the pullback. If you're already holding alts, keep your stops in place, because a BTC rejection at 87K would hit alts harder than BTC.

Not financial advice, just how I'm positioned. Are you chasing 86K, or waiting for the retest?

What if Bitcoin keeps making higher highs, but the volume keeps getting weaker?

That can be a warning sign worth paying attention to.

This is where Volume Divergence comes in.
