ETH: Trend Up, Coiling 4H — The Trade Is How You Hold It 📊
💬 This week's hot topic is volatility — and the hardest part of a strong trend isn't the entry, it's not handing it all back on the first shake-out.
1️⃣ Adding, reducing, trading, or staying on the sidelines?
In a tape this volatile, the edge isn't chasing the green candle — it's managing the pullback. I'd rather lighten into strength and let the rest run than add into the spike.
2️⃣ Majors, altcoins, or tokenized U.S. stocks?
Majors only — ETH. The structure I'm tracking:
· 📈 Weekly: price above EMA5 (2596) and EMA10 (2414), weekly MACD positive (DIF 252 > DEA 168). No weekly sell signal yet.
· 📉 Daily: real trend strength — ADX 41.6, +DI 33 vs −DI 11, RSI 64 with room before overbought, price riding EMA7 (2695) above the 200-day trend. Bollinger is widening (2853 vs 2444), so a range expansion is loaded.
· ⏱️ 4H: consolidating right under SAR (2744) after a sharp leg — a breather, not a top. A daily close back above 2744 is the trigger.
My plan for the week: respect the 4H coil. As long as daily EMA7 (~2695) holds, the path of least resistance stays up; a daily close below it flips my bias to defense. The 2744 reclaim and the 2807 level are the levels I'll watch on any continuation — tokenized U.S. stocks stay on the watchlist until their order books deepen.
