OPENAIUSDT holding the mid-range after the big spike – ARR news still in play

Looking at the 1h chart right now, OPENAIUSDT is sitting at 1,571.51 after opening the candle at 1,575.33, high 1,578.83 and low 1,568.05. Down just 3.80 points or –0.24% on the session. The triple MAs are clustered tight: 50 at 1,591.02, 99 at 1,587.74 and 200 also at 1,591.02. Price is trading below all three of them, which keeps the short-term bias cautious.

RSI (14) is at 42.83 – not oversold, just sitting in the lower half of the neutral zone. MACD is still negative at 1.49 / –5.23 / –6.73, histogram slowly shrinking but no clear crossover yet. Volume on the latest candle is quiet at 466.87. The horizontal levels that matter are the yellow/orange band around 1,588–1,591 acting as resistance and the purple line at 1,554.99 as the next real support if this range breaks lower.

The recent vertical spike up toward 1,720 and the subsequent rejection left a clear rejection wick. Since then price has been grinding sideways between roughly 1,555 and 1,591. As long as we stay above 1,554.99 I’m treating this as a consolidation after the ARR-driven move rather than a full reversal. A clean reclaim and hold above 1,591 would flip the bias back to bullish and open room toward the previous highs. Lose 1,554.99 with volume and the next downside targets open up quickly.

My own plan is simple: watching for a bounce off the 1,555–1,568 zone for a long scalp targeting 1,588–1,591, invalidation on a close below 1,554.99. No FOMO on the news – the move already happened, now it’s about whether the range holds.
