GT at $10.94: A Campaign Built Around the Token, Not Just the Brand
I wanted to look at the One Gate Witness Program through the chart instead of the press release, because GT has already moved a long way before the event even started. It traded around $7.05 on August 20, pushed past $9 in the second week of September, printed $9.91 on September 18 and now sits at $10.94. That is roughly +55% in six weeks and about +17% from the $9.34 close on September 11. Market cap is $1.18B, rank #75.
The campaign window runs from September 30 to October 15, and GT is one of the prizes alongside the F1 tickets and signed merchandise. Prize pools like this rarely move a $1.18B asset on their own. What matters more is that GT already has a few demand drivers running in parallel: the burn narrative, and a staking campaign that was offering above 50% APR in late September. A witness campaign adds attention on top of that, which is why I treat it as a sentiment tailwind and not as a thesis.
My concern is liquidity. 24h turnover is only around $466K against that market cap, so moves can look cleaner than they are and reverse quickly if bids thin out.
Levels I am watching: $9.56 was the 90-day high that got broken in September, so it should now act as support. The late-September range sat between $10.06 and $10.90, and $10.90 is the cap to clear.
My bias is bullish while GT holds above $9.56 on a daily close. My plan is to look for entries on dips into the $10.06 to $10.20 zone, with invalidation on a daily close below $9.56. First target is a retest of $10.90, second is $12.00. A clean break above $10.90 on rising volume would tell me the campaign is adding real demand. If it breaks out on thin volume, I would not chase it.
For those holding GT through the campaign period: are you treating events like this as a reason to add, or as a reason to take profit into strength?
