#ThreeLaunchpoThreeLaunchpoolsLiveSimultaneously,ShareMillionsInAirdropsolsLiveSimultaneously,ShareMillionsInAirdrops $XAUT $FOLD $LAPTOP

Three days of the same APR numbers now, FOLD at 590.76%, LAPTOP at 263.05%, XAUT's 34 token pool holding steady. At this point I think the headline figures have told me everything they're going to tell me, so I went looking into FOLD specifically today, since it's the pool carrying the most project-specific risk of the three, and found something worth flagging that I hadn't looked at properly before: the supply structure.

FOLD has a fixed total supply of 1.2 billion tokens, and only around 330 million of those are actually circulating right now. That's roughly 27%. The rest is still vesting, reportedly over 24 to 48 months, split across team, advisors, and investors. What that means in plain terms is that every month for the next couple of years, more FOLD gets unlocked and becomes sellable, regardless of what the Launchpool APR looks like or how the project's utility develops.

This matters specifically for anyone staking into the FOLD pool here, because the reward token you're earning sits inside a supply structure that's built to expand steadily whether or not demand keeps pace. A token with 73% of its supply still locked is a very different thing to hold than one that's already fully circulating, even if the current price looks reasonable in isolation.

The other piece I hadn't fully registered before is how early-stage the actual network is. Mainnet only went live in mid-August under something called "Network Alpha," and the core utilities that are supposed to create real demand for the token, ciphernode staking and live governance, are still described as "coming next" rather than already operating. So the token exists and trades, but the thing it's actually meant to be used for isn't fully built yet. That's not necessarily a red flag, plenty of infrastructure tokens launch ahead of their full utility rollout, but it does mean the case for holding FOLD long-term right now rests more on anticipation of what ciphernode staking and governance will eventually drive than on anything currently generating organic on-chain demand.

Put those two things together, a large unlock schedule still running for years and core utility still pending, and the picture for the FOLD pool specifically looks more speculative than I'd initially framed it as. The APR is real and the rewards are real, but what you're actually being paid in is a token where the supply-demand balance is still very much unsettled.

I don't think this changes anything about whether to participate in the Launchpool itself, that's a separate decision with its own math. But it does change how I'd think about what to do with the FOLD you earn. Holding it through a multi-year vesting unlock, betting on utility that hasn't launched yet, is a meaningfully different bet than holding a token whose supply is already fully out and whose use case is already live.

For XAUT and LAPTOP I don't have the same kind of supply breakdown in front of me yet, and I'd rather say that honestly than guess. If anyone's looked into either of those the way I just did with FOLD, I'd genuinely be curious what the vesting picture looks like there too.
