Some milestones are easier to understand when you have been part of the journey yourself. For me, Gate’s One Gate Witness Program feels like one of those moments.

I joined Gate in 2022. My journey started with something very simple: my first DOGE trade. At that point, I was still learning what it really meant to trade. I was focused much more on finding an entry and catching a move than on understanding everything behind that decision.

A lot has changed since then.

Trading gradually taught me that the market is not just about predicting whether price will go up or down. I had to learn how to read structure, identify meaningful levels, think about invalidation, manage risk and, perhaps most importantly, control my own emotions. FOMO can make an average setup look like an opportunity, while impatience can turn no trade into a bad trade. With experience, I started understanding that protecting capital and waiting for clarity can matter just as much as finding a profitable position.

That was a major change in the way I approached trading.

But my transformation did not stop with trading. Over time, I started streaming and creating content as well. Instead of only studying charts for myself, I began sharing market ideas with other people. That forced me to become more precise with my analysis. If I wanted to explain a setup, I needed to understand the reason behind it. If I discussed a possible move, I needed to distinguish between a scenario and a confirmed signal.

In other words, trading taught me to analyse, while content creation taught me to communicate that analysis clearly.

Looking back, that is what makes the idea of evolution in the One Gate Witness Program meaningful to me. Gate is celebrating another stage of its own 13-year journey, while I can look back at my own development since 2022. My first DOGE trade, the lessons from difficult market conditions, learning risk management, becoming more disciplined, and eventually moving into streaming and content creation all became different parts of the same process.

The One Gate Witness Program is built around the idea of “One Gate, Borderless Finance.” It invites the community to participate in three different moments that represent how users can interact with the Gate ecosystem: Hold Freely, Pay on the Go and Trade Anytime.

What makes the event different from a normal promotional announcement is the way participation works. You don't need to make a deposit or place a trade simply to become a witness. During the campaign period, users can log in, choose a topic, complete the required sharing activity through the designated channel, and have that activity verified by the system. The official campaign period is September 30, 2026 at 12:00 UTC+8 through October 15, 2026 at 12:00 UTC+8.

The campaign also introduces a witness-number system. When a user makes their first valid share, they receive a witness number. The three themes can be shared repeatedly during the campaign, but the witness number and its corresponding first-share reward are tied to the user's first valid share.

The special numbers are what add another layer to the event: 1, 11, 111, 1,111, 11,111 and 111,111. These numbers are connected to additional rewards. According to Gate's campaign page, the special rewards include 100 GT, an F1 race ticket and driver-signed merchandise, with the exact combination depending on the witness number. For example, the 1st and 111,111th witnesses are listed for the full combination, while other special numbers receive different combinations.

There is also a practical reason to pay attention to the participation rules. Users need to be logged in and complete identity verification to participate, while certain account types and regions may be excluded. Gate also states that sharing activity must be completed through the designated channels during the event period and successfully verified. Rewards are subject to the campaign rules, and special-number rewards are distributed after the event and eligibility review.

For me, however, the most interesting part of this campaign is not simply the possibility of receiving a reward.

It is the concept of being a witness.

When you hear about a milestone after it has happened, you are only looking at history. When you participate while it is happening, you become part of that moment.

That distinction matters because communities are not built only by platforms. They are built by the people who use them, learn through them, create on them and continue showing up through different stages.

I can relate to that personally.

When I made my first DOGE trade on Gate in 2022, I wasn't thinking about streaming. I wasn't thinking about creating market content. I certainly wasn't thinking about looking back years later and describing how my trading mindset had changed.

I was simply starting.

Then one step led to another.

Trading pushed me to learn. Learning pushed me to analyse more carefully. Analysis pushed me toward content. Content pushed me to communicate better. And the repetition of all those experiences gradually changed the way I approach the market today.

That is my personal version of evolution.

Gate is now asking its community to witness another chapter of its own.

And the campaign gives everyone a simple way to participate: log in, choose the moment you want to share, complete the valid sharing activity and receive your witness number. The three themes — Hold Freely, Pay on the Go and Trade Anytime — give different ways to express what “One Gate, Borderless Finance” means from a user's perspective.

So I don't see this campaign as just another reward event.

I see it as a snapshot in time.

A snapshot of where Gate is after 13 years, and where its community is standing at this particular moment.

For someone like me, who started with a single DOGE trade in 2022 and gradually moved into deeper market analysis, streaming and content creation, there is something fitting about becoming a witness to another stage of that evolution.

The first trade was a beginning.
The lessons became experience.
The experience became a different way of thinking.
And now, I get to witness another chapter.
