#美光即将披露四季度财报 #MU
My take: Fundamentals are bullish, but the bar for expectations is extremely high. The key point tonight isn't just whether Micron exceeded $51 billion in revenue, but rather how much of the projected 2027 fiscal year AI memory boom is already priced in.

* Q4: Micron’s guidance for the June quarter was $50 billion (±$1 billion) in revenue and $31 (±$1) in non-GAAP EPS. Current consensus stands at approximately $51.4 billion in revenue and $31.73 in EPS, so a modest beat alone might not suffice.

* HBM4: This is the major fundamental catalyst. Micron has stated that it is shipping HBM4 in high volume to a key customer and has qualification samples with additional customers. It also announced HBM4 production for NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform earlier this year.

* Fiscal Year 2027 Outlook: This is likely the figure that will move the market. Investors need evidence that tight DRAM/HBM supply and AI demand can sustain exceptionally high profit margins through 2027.

* Risk: Expectations are massive. According to MarketWatch, MU has surged nearly 275% year-to-date, while options markets were pricing in a move of around 8% around the earnings release.

* Cycle risk: According to Citi's latest view, memory prices could peak in the second quarter of 2027—partly due to potential additional supply—whereas other analysts predict the upcycle will last longer. This represents the core debate regarding the bull market and its duration.

What I will be watching for after the announcement:

Outcome Likely market interpretation
Above expectations + strong FY2027 outlook + accelerating HBM4 Positive fundamental signal

Above expectations but cautious FY2027 outlook Could trigger a "sell the news" reaction

In line with expectations + very strong HBM commentary Market may focus on 2027 rather than Q4

Revenue/EPS above expectations but disappointing margin outlook | Potentially significant negative signal

Delays in HBM4 ramp-up / weak customer qualification | Major concern for the AI memory thesis

In summary: I view FY2027 revenue growth, gross margin trajectory, HBM4 volumes/pricing, and supply-demand commentary as more important than simply beating headline Q4 EPS expectations. With option pricing implying a move of approximately 8%, the market is already braced for a significant reaction; the question is whether Micron can provide information that materially alters the 2027 earnings narrative.

If you are trading this event, the combination of expectations, guidance, and HBM details matters more than just whether they "beat or miss" estimates.
