The first requirement is a net BTC deposit of at least 0.01 BTC during the campaign period.

That deposited BTC then needs to be subscribed to Gate’s 7-day BTC fixed-term Earn product. Eligible subscribed principal can receive an additional +3% APR bonus, with the bonus paid in USDT.

Gate has allocated a total 100,000 USDT bonus pool, and the bonus is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis according to subscription time. So reaching the minimum requirement does not mean the bonus pool will remain available throughout the entire campaign.

There is also an important personal eligibility limit: the amount of BTC receiving the promotional bonus is tied to your net BTC deposit during the campaign.

For example, if you make a net deposit of 1.5 BTC and subscribe the full eligible amount into the 7-day fixed-term product, the 1.5 BTC portion can qualify for the bonus.

If your net deposit is 1.5 BTC but you subscribe a different amount, the promotional calculation is still limited by the eligible net deposit amount.

Gate also gives a useful example involving withdrawals. If you deposit 1 BTC during the event, subscribe it to the 7-day product, and later withdraw 0.2 BTC during the campaign, your net deposit becomes 0.8 BTC. Therefore, only the 0.8 BTC amount remains eligible for the promotional bonus.

That net-deposit rule is important because simply moving BTC into the account and then withdrawing it does not create the same eligibility as maintaining the required net deposit.

There is another incentive attached to the campaign.

Users who reach a net BTC deposit of at least 0.1 BTC can receive an additional 10 USDT futures trial fund.

And this part is limited to the first 1,000 eligible users.

So the structure is effectively:

But there is a major distinction between earning an APR bonus and receiving 3% profit over seven days.

The advertised +3% is an APR bonus, not a guaranteed 3% return for the seven-day period. The actual reward therefore needs to be understood in relation to the seven-day term and eligible principal.

Also remember that the promotional reward is paid in USDT, while the underlying asset being deposited is BTC.

The useful way to look at this campaign is not “BTC is guaranteed to make 3%.”
