#ETHBackAbove2700

ETH Is Trading at $2,675 — Can Buyers Take Back $2,700?

Ethereum is currently trading around $2,675, after moving between a 24-hour high of approximately $2,719 and a low near $2,634.

The important part is not simply that ETH touched $2,700 again. The real question is whether buyers can turn the $2,700 area from resistance into sustainable support.

ETH has already shown that it can move above the psychological level. The problem is holding it.

The recent price action continues to show a battle between buyers defending the lower part of the range and sellers appearing whenever ETH approaches the upper resistance zone.

$2,700 Remains the Main Short-Term Test

With ETH now at $2,675, the market is only about $25 below $2,700.

That makes the next move particularly interesting.

A push back above $2,700 would bring the recent 24-hour high of $2,719 into focus. If buyers can break $2,719 and hold above it, the market could begin testing the next resistance area around $2,740–$2,750.

Above that zone, the previous $2,790–$2,807 region becomes the bigger upside reference.

But another rejection around $2,700–$2,719 would keep the current range structure intact.

The $2,634 Low Is Equally Important

The other side of today's range is just as important.

ETH dropped to approximately $2,634 during the last 24 hours before recovering toward $2,675.

That tells me buyers are still defending the mid-$2,600 area.

If ETH continues holding above $2,634 and starts creating higher short-term lows, the structure could gradually improve.

However, losing $2,634 would put $2,600 back into focus. Below $2,600, the broader range floor around $2,565 becomes an important level to watch.

So right now, ETH is effectively sitting between two key zones:

Resistance: $2,700 → $2,719 → $2,740–$2,750

Support: $2,675 → $2,634 → $2,600 → $2,565

Why I Am Watching the Retest

The biggest mistake around a psychological level like $2,700 is treating the first move above it as confirmation.

A wick above resistance is not the same as a breakout.

For a stronger bullish structure, I would want to see ETH reclaim $2,700, break $2,719, and then successfully retest the breakout area without immediately falling back below it.

Volume would also matter.

A breakout supported by increasing spot demand would be more meaningful than a quick move caused mainly by short covering.

ETH Still Has Multiple Catalysts

There is also a larger fundamental backdrop behind the price.

Ethereum ETF flows have remained an important source of demand, while corporate treasury accumulation provides another potential structural bid.

At the same time, whale transfers and exchange-related supply remain factors that can create resistance during rallies.

That explains why ETH can repeatedly approach $2,700 without immediately turning the level into support.

The market is balancing demand against supply.

My Current ETH View

At $2,675, I would describe ETH as being in the middle of a short-term battle rather than a confirmed breakout.

The bullish scenario becomes more convincing above $2,719, especially if ETH can hold that level on a retest.

The bearish scenario becomes more important below $2,634, with $2,600 and $2,565 then becoming the next areas to monitor.

Until one side takes control, volatility around $2,700 could continue.

For me, the key message is simple:

$2,700 is not the confirmation. The reaction after $2,700 is the confirmation.

ETH has already shown that it can reach the level.

Now buyers need to prove they can keep it.
