#GateBTCSpotVolumeRanksTop3 Leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin
BTC has been on an upward trend since July. At this point, BTC closed July and August positively and is preparing to close September positively as well.
A positive close for September would mean a three-month uninterrupted upward streak for Bitcoin from July through September. In Bitcoin’s price history, consecutive three-month upward streaks during the July–September period have occurred only a limited number of times.
Looking at Bitcoin’s monthly returns table, if we make a generalization, we see that March, August, and September are generally declining months, while February, July, October, and November are rising months.
October, in particular, is regarded as one of the standout periods in Bitcoin’s historical performance. When past data is examined, unlike September, Bitcoin has completed most October months with gains since 2013. During this period, monthly losses were recorded in only three Octobers, while positive performance was seen in the other years.
If Bitcoin completes its three-month upward streak with September, the market’s focus will turn to its performance in October.
The consecutive gains and October’s reputation as a rising month have increased investors’ expectations for Bitcoin in October.
