GT is showing another strong move after breaking above $11.
Today, GT pushed as high as around $11.41, while the latest market data places it around the $10.8–$10.9 area. The important part for me is not simply the percentage gain. Trading activity has also increased, which makes the move more interesting from a market-structure perspective.
The first level I am watching now is $11.40–$11.50.
GT already tested this area, but the real confirmation would be a clean breakout above it followed by a successful retest. If buyers can turn $11.40–$11.50 from resistance into support, the next psychological level becomes $12.
Above $12, the next area I would watch is around $12.50–$13. I would not treat these as guaranteed targets, though. The price needs to build support at each level rather than simply moving vertically.
On the downside, $10.60–$10.65 is the first area I would watch for support. Below that, $10.40–$10.50 becomes more important because it sits closer to the recent breakout structure.
If GT loses that area with increasing selling volume, the market could revisit $10.00–$10.20. That would not automatically invalidate the larger trend, but it would show that the current breakout is losing strength and needs to rebuild.
Volume is another key part of this setup.
A breakout above $11.40 without meaningful volume would be less convincing to me. What I want to see is buyers continuing to participate as price moves through resistance. If volume expands together with the breakout and GT holds the new level, the structure becomes much healthier.
There is also a fundamental reason I am keeping GT on the radar.
Gate's token-burn mechanism continues reducing GT supply. Gate reported another 2.57 million GT burned during Q2 2026, bringing cumulative burns to approximately 189.95 million GT. That doesn't guarantee higher prices, but it is an important part of GT's longer-term supply dynamics.
So I am looking at GT from two different angles.
Short term: Can it break and hold $11.40–$11.50?
Longer term: Can growing Gate ecosystem activity, continued token burns and broader product expansion support sustained demand for GT?
There is also one risk I would not ignore.
GT is still a relatively smaller-cap asset compared with BTC and ETH, so momentum can work in both directions. If Bitcoin continues holding its current strength, GT may have room to continue testing higher levels. But if the broader market suddenly reverses, GT can give back gains quickly.
For my trading plan, I would rather wait for confirmation than chase a green candle.
Above $11.50: watch $12, then $12.50–$13.
Around $10.60–$10.65: watch for buyers defending the first support.
Around $10.40–$10.50: important structure for the current breakout.
Below $10.00–$10.20: the bullish breakout structure would need to be reassessed.
The biggest question now isn't whether GT can touch $12.
It's whether GT can turn the $11 area into a new support zone.
If it can, this move becomes much more interesting.
If it cannot, I would rather wait for the next clean setup than chase the price.
$11.40–$11.50 is the level I'm watching next.
