* A high volume of open interest in derivatives relative to spot trading volume may indicate strong institutional activity while also reflecting the concentration of leveraged positions across the platform.

3. Token Selection and Trading Opportunities

* Platforms that offer thousands of spot trading pairs and list early-stage projects attract investors seeking high early-stage returns (alpha).

* The flip side: A wider range of tokens necessitates stricter internal risk management to prevent low-liquidity assets from negatively impacting the platform's overall stability.

4. The Platform's Long-Term Strength

Scale alone does not guarantee security; however, a consistent operating history spanning years, regulatory licenses, and steady net capital inflows reflect the confidence held by both institutional and retail investors throughout full market cycles.

If one factor must be prioritized, Asset Security and Reserves serve as a safety net; trading depth and listing variety only matter if user funds remain available for withdrawal at any time.
