Arc Launches Facilitator Service for USDC Payments Across Multiple Chains

Circle's Arc network has launched a Facilitator Service for USDC payments across multiple chains, enabling seamless cross-chain stablecoin transactions and further expanding the utility of its native blockchain. The service, announced on September 19, 2026, allows merchants, payment processors, and developers to accept USDC payments on any supported chain while settling transactions on Arc, eliminating the complexity of managing multiple blockchain integrations. The Facilitator Service is designed to accelerate the adoption of USDC as a payment method by providing a unified settlement layer that is fast, low-cost, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Despite the positive development, ARC shares fell 5.82% on the day, reflecting broader market weakness and profit-taking after the recent mainnet launch rally. USDC remained stable at $1.00. The launch of the Facilitator Service is part of Circle's broader strategy to position Arc as the premier settlement layer for stablecoin payments, competing with Ethereum, Solana, and other payment-focused blockchains. For content creators, this is a story about the infrastructure being built to support mainstream stablecoin adoption and the growing competition among blockchain networks to capture the multi-trillion-dollar payments market.

The name “Facilitator” is quite interesting—is Circle trying to become the Visa of the stablecoin world?

With both a unified settlement layer and a compliance framework, Circle is taking a two-pronged approach, and the advantages of a regulation-friendly player are beginning to show.

For content creators, this kind of B2B infrastructure news is indeed hard to turn into a viral hit, but the industry’s underlying logic is worth digging into.

Arc directly takes on ETH and SOL in the payments sector. Everyone wants a bite of the trillion-dollar market, and I’m bullish on the ecosystem battle ahead.

Unifying multiple chains under Arc settlement sounds appealing, but are merchants really willing to put all their eggs in one basket? Decentralization believers are probably frowning.

Released in September 2026... etc.—is this a prediction or real news? If it's true, Circle's roadmap extends pretty far into the future.
