#ZEC is back in the spotlight — and this move has real volume behind it.

ZEC is around $1,380, up roughly 23% in 24h and 11% over 7 days. Futures volume has exploded to about $12.1B, versus $1.3B spot, while open interest sits near $3.1B. Around $57M in futures positions were liquidated, so leverage is clearly amplifying today’s move.

The immediate battle is $1,400. Holding above it could open $1,450–$1,500, while a rejection puts $1,300 back in focus. The bigger support is around $1,200, where the previous breakout structure can be tested. With futures activity so large, I would avoid chasing a vertical candle without confirmation.

The fundamental backdrop is also improving. Zcash holders recently backed 25-second block times while keeping the existing halving schedule, and Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang publicly disclosed that Paradigm owns ZEC and described it as a privacy complement to Bitcoin.

Macro is still the risk. The Fed raised rates by 25 bps to 3.75%–4%, while BTC is holding above $76K. That gives ZEC some broader market support, but the stronger dollar and tighter policy remain potential headwinds.

Bullish: sustained acceptance above $1,400 → $1,450 → $1,500. Losing $1,300 would weaken the setup.

Bearish: rejection around $1,400 followed by a break below $1,300 → $1,200. Reclaiming $1,400 would invalidate the immediate bearish setup.

My read: ZEC has strong momentum, but after a 20%+ daily move, volatility is the main risk. I’m watching $1,400 for confirmation and $1,300 for the first structural warning.
