$ARC around $0.07 — but the bigger story is the infrastructure behind the launch.
September 16 marks the official mainnet launch of Arc, a new blockchain designed around stablecoin-native activity, with USDC positioned at the center of transactions and settlement. Instead of building its initial narrative purely around speculative token activity, Arc is targeting use cases where stablecoin liquidity, fast settlement and on-chain financial applications can work together. For a newly launched network, that makes the first few days especially important because early liquidity and user activity can reveal where the ecosystem is actually developing.
① USDC-Native — Stablecoins at the Core
Arc's architecture puts USDC directly into the transaction experience. That is an important design choice because stablecoins can reduce the friction associated with volatile settlement assets and make a blockchain more relevant to payments, trading, DeFi and tokenized financial applications. The key metric from here is not simply the amount of $ARC traded, but how much genuine stablecoin activity the network can attract and retain.
② Sub-Second Finality — Speed Meets Settlement
Arc is also built around very fast transaction finality, targeting sub-second settlement. Speed becomes particularly relevant when a chain is trying to support trading, payments and financial applications where users expect transactions to settle quickly. But launch-day speed is only the beginning; the more meaningful test will be whether Arc can maintain that performance as transaction volume and application activity increase.
③ Day-One Gate Support — The Liquidity Bridge
Gate's support from the first day gives the Arc ecosystem an immediate connection to an established trading environment. Through Gate's “Gold-Digging Dog” 0-Gas trading experience, users can explore Arc-based assets with lower transaction friction. Gate is also highlighting trading fees as low as 0.5% for the Gold-Digging Dog experience. For a brand-new chain, reducing the cost and complexity of interacting with early assets can make ecosystem discovery much easier.
④ 0-Gas — Why Cost Matters
For early-stage ecosystems, transaction costs can become a major barrier. A user may find an interesting new token but hesitate to interact with it if every swap or transfer requires additional network fees. Gate's ARC 0-Gas experience changes that part of the equation by reducing the gas-cost friction for supported trading activity. This does not guarantee that an asset will perform well; it simply makes experimentation and ecosystem discovery more accessible.
⑤ RWA — The Bigger Long-Term Theme
Arc's stablecoin-focused infrastructure also creates an interesting connection with DeFi and tokenized real-world assets. If stablecoin settlement becomes a major part of on-chain financial infrastructure, Arc could potentially attract applications involving payments, financial products and tokenized assets. The important data will be whether actual protocols and users begin building persistent activity rather than simply generating launch-day volume.
⑥ Meme → DeFi → RWA
The first wave of Arc projects will also reveal what type of ecosystem is developing. Will early attention concentrate on community-driven meme assets? Will DeFi protocols generate the majority of liquidity? Or will infrastructure and RWA applications gradually become more important? The answer should become clearer by tracking DEX volume, liquidity depth, TVL, active addresses and repeat users rather than judging the ecosystem from a single launch-day price.
⑦ $0.07 — Price Is Only One Signal
With $ARC around $0.07, the token price naturally attracts attention, but launch-day price action alone cannot measure the success of a blockchain. I would watch whether trading activity remains strong after the initial excitement, whether liquidity continues expanding and whether new applications attract users beyond the first wave of traders. A sustainable ecosystem needs activity that survives after the launch-day spotlight moves elsewhere.
This is why I think the more interesting ARC data set over the coming days is not one number. It is the combination of TVL + DEX volume + active addresses + new wallets + liquidity depth + token launches + stablecoin activity. If those indicators expand together, Arc's day-one narrative becomes much more meaningful. If volume rises but active users and liquidity fail to follow, the market may be seeing mostly short-term launch activity.
Gate's day-one support adds another layer to that discovery process. With ARC mainnet live and the 0-Gas trading experience available through Gold-Digging Dog, users can focus more directly on the projects entering the ecosystem instead of making transaction cost the first obstacle.
For me, the key ARC story is therefore bigger than $0.07. A new chain needs to prove three things after launch: fast infrastructure, real liquidity and sustainable users. Arc has started with stablecoin-native design, sub-second finality and day-one Gate support. The next chapter will be written by the applications, liquidity and user activity that develop on top of the network.
🚀 Mainnet is day one. The real measurement starts after the launch.
