CryptoQuant data shows that Gate’s spot trading volume has entered the global top 3. More notably, its 30-day spot growth reached +667%, ranking first globally, while its derivatives trading volume growth also ranked among the global top 3.
Looking only at the words “ranked first globally” can easily spark excitement, but what is truly worth examining is the structure of the growth.
An exchange’s growth essentially depends on three things: users, products, and trading activity. If users come but there is not a sufficiently diverse range of products, they will have a hard time staying; if the products are diverse but there is no liquidity or trading demand, it will also be difficult to achieve scale.

That is where the growth data is truly worth watching.
