Negotiations over the U.S. CLARITY Act remain active as Senate Democrats have delivered a counterproposal to Republicans ahead of today’s scheduled procedural vote.

The move keeps discussions alive around several disputed provisions, particularly crypto-related ethics rules and other regulatory concerns.
The Senate is scheduled to vote on cloture at approximately 2:15 PM ET today. Importantly, this is not a final vote on the bill. The measure needs 60 votes to advance toward formal Senate consideration.
The latest development shows that lawmakers are still negotiating rather than having reached a final agreement.
For the crypto market, the outcome could be important because the CLARITY Act aims to establish a clearer U.S. regulatory framework for digital assets.

If the CLARITY Act passes, the U.S. digital asset regulatory framework can finally be implemented, but judging by the pace of negotiations, the final version will probably take a while longer. #GateTopsGlobalGrowth

Looks like the two parties are deadlocked over the crypto ethics provision. Let’s see at 2:15 p.m. whether cloture can pass, though even if it does, it would only be a procedural advance.
