#BrentWTITop$100 🔥 Brent & WTI Crude Oil Surge Above $100
Oil markets are facing another major volatility wave as geopolitical tensions and supply disruptions push crude prices sharply higher. Brent crude is trading around $108 per barrel, while WTI is near $103, with both benchmarks firmly above the psychological $100 level.
📈 Why is oil rising?
The latest rally is being driven by growing concerns over Middle East energy supplies. Attacks on critical infrastructure, disruptions to regional oil flows, and uncertainty around key shipping routes are increasing the market’s risk premium. Reuters reported that Brent recently jumped more than 3%, reaching around $107.82, while WTI climbed above $102.
⚠️ Why $100 Matters
The $100 level is an important psychological threshold. If prices remain above it, energy markets could stay bullish, but prolonged high oil prices could also increase transportation and production costs globally.
🔥 Inflation Risk
Higher crude prices can put additional pressure on inflation because energy costs feed into transportation, manufacturing and consumer prices. This could make the path for central banks more complicated, especially as markets focus on upcoming interest-rate decisions.
🌍 Market Outlook
The key question now is whether Brent can sustain the move above $100 and challenge the $110–$120 area if supply disruptions continue. On the downside, any meaningful de-escalation or improvement in energy flows could trigger a sharp pullback.
For traders, crude oil is entering a highly sensitive phase where geopolitical headlines, supply disruptions, inventories and central-bank policy can create rapid price swings.
📊 Brent: ~$108
📊 WTI: ~$103
🚨 Key psychological zone: $100
🔥 Focus: Supply disruptions + Middle East tensions + inflation
