What do futures traders value?

The 24-hour futures open interest of $11.479 billion is quite an interesting figure. Gate ranks among the top three CEXs globally, once again highlighting a fact: in today’s crypto market, truly active capital remains highly concentrated on leading trading platforms.
Of course, high open interest does not mean everyone can make money. After all, platforms provide the arena, but you still have to judge the direction yourself. This is especially true in the futures market, where leverage amplifies returns while also magnifying risks. Whether a platform has sufficient liquidity, a stable system, comprehensive risk controls, and a smooth trading experience becomes particularly important.
In the past, choosing a platform might have meant focusing only on fees; now, more and more users are looking at market depth, execution efficiency, product ecosystems, and risk management.
Ultimately, a trading platform is not about “whoever shouts the loudest in advertising wins,” but about who can provide users with a comfortable long-term experience.
