User Choices Behind Trading Volume
The most interesting thing about the market is that people can have all kinds of opinions, but capital ultimately votes with its actions.
Gate's 24H futures open interest exceeds $11.479 billion, placing it among the top three global CEXs, indicating that the capital activity in its futures market is worth watching. For traders, this means platform competition is gradually shifting from “whether the features exist” to “whether the experience is good enough.”
Users are becoming increasingly rational. Low fees are certainly attractive, but if liquidity is insufficient and the execution experience is poor, no amount of incentives will retain genuine traders for long. Especially during volatile market conditions, the importance of system stability, order book depth, and risk control is magnified exponentially.
So, in my view, a good platform should not merely make it convenient for you to open positions; it should also enable you to trade in an orderly manner even when the market goes wild.
Of course, futures trading itself carries high risks. Leverage is not simply an amplifier—it can also be an “accelerator” for losses.
If you were to choose a CEX again now, what would matter most to you: market depth, fees, risk control, or the overall trading experience?#Gate24小时合约持仓量超114.79亿美元
