These large bearish candlesticks on the K-line chart are slashing downward like knives, smashing the price to pieces. Most critically, all the moving averages are currently pressing firmly above the price, forming a perfect “death suppression.” The bears have complete control of the situation; the rebound cannot get off the ground, and the bulls have been stunned.
Qingyao’s view remains bearish. After trading sideways, a high-volume breakdown has historically continued downward eight times out of ten. A rebound to around 1600 will most likely be pushed back down. Unless it climbs back above 1620 on heavy volume, this is merely a continuation of the decline.
From the market action, around 1547 is currently a relatively important short-term support level. If it does not break below this level on heavy volume before the U.S. stock market opens, a small rebound will follow; if it breaks below, it will head lower! For short-term trading, short around 1558–1588, initially targeting 1520; if support breaks, continue looking lower toward around 1436! #
