Anthropic Chooses Nasdaq, AI Capital Feast Returns

Rumor has it that Anthropic has chosen Nasdaq as its potential IPO venue and plans to list as early as October. Once the news broke, the market’s focus quickly shifted from “When will AI companies go public?” to “How much valuation is the capital market willing to assign to AI?” Reuters previously reported that Anthropic’s IPO could begin as early as mid-October, with market discussions putting its valuation as high as approximately $2 trillion.

If it ultimately goes ahead, this would be more than just an AI company going public; it could become a valuation stress test for the entire AI industry chain. Anthropic is connected to computing power, cloud services, chips, and data centers, and how high a valuation capital is willing to assign to it will also affect market expectations for related companies such as Nvidia and Amazon.

More interestingly, Nvidia is reportedly considering becoming an anchor investor, with a potential investment of up to $10 billion.

So what makes this IPO worth watching is not just Anthropic itself, but how much the market is willing to pay for “AI’s future cash flows.” The higher the valuation, the greater the AI asset frenzy; if the valuation falls significantly below expectations, it could instead signal a repricing of the entire sector.#传Anthropic选择纳斯达克IPO
