Anthropic Shakes Up IPO Plans, Nvidia Could Also Become a Winner

Anthropic is reportedly choosing Nasdaq for its IPO. On the surface, this is Anthropic’s own capital story, but what investors should really focus on is the industry chain behind it. Reuters reported that Nvidia is considering becoming an anchor investor in Anthropic’s IPO, with a potential investment of up to $10 billion.

Why is Nvidia willing to participate? The logic is actually simple: Anthropic is a major consumer of AI computing power, while Nvidia is one of the core GPU suppliers. The more powerful AI models become, the more training and inference computing power they require, creating a natural industry tie between the two sides.

At the same time, Anthropic’s potential valuation is approximately $2 trillion, meaning that if the IPO succeeds, it could become an important benchmark for the global AI capital market.

I believe there are two trading angles to this IPO. First, whether Anthropic’s own valuation can gain market recognition; second, whether AI infrastructure companies such as Nvidia, cloud computing providers, and data centers can continue to benefit from industry expansion.
