Solana’s institutional access is expanding — Farside shows cumulative U.S. Solana ETF flows at $1.316B through September 10, 2026, while VanEck’s VSOL held 231,827 SOL worth $23.87M on September 9. Yet price has not confirmed that demand: SOL was around $99.52 after trading from $98.38 to $102.18, while recent ETF flows included -$0.5M on September 10. That leaves the fundamental story constructive but the price response mixed.

That divergence—the gap between growing regulated exposure and stalled price momentum—is the tell. This is a watch, not a confident long/short. The market still needs price confirmation rather than assuming ETF demand automatically translates into spot strength.

For SOL/USDT, $102.18 is the confirmation line — a daily close above it would signal renewed demand. The first support to watch is $98.38, the September 12 session low. A confirmed break below $98.38 puts $90–$92 back on watch, where September technical analysis identified the next meaningful support area.

Timeframe: next 1–2 weeks, with the September 9 transaction-format upgrade now moving into early market observation.

Invalidation: a confirmed close below $98.38 weakens this watch thesis; a broad crypto rebound could lift SOL without improving SOL-specific demand.
