Gate’s advantage is evolving from “more coins” to “more assets”
In the past, when people thought of Gate, they may have first thought of altcoins and new projects; but that label is now changing. Gate has already expanded into more trading scenarios covering crypto assets, stocks, indices, commodities, and more. The products currently displayed on its official platform have extended into stocks, forex, indices, precious metals, tokenized stocks, and other areas.
According to market data, Gate’s spot trading volume in July this year was approximately $35.8 billion, ranking fourth globally; its derivatives trading volume was approximately $276 billion, with a market share of over 9%, indicating that its core competitiveness is no longer limited to spot trading.
More interestingly, RWA perpetual trading volume surged 158% in August to reach $64.7 billion, while its market share rose from 5.32% to 12.6%, jumping to third globally.
So I would rather understand Gate’s Top4 position as an “identity upgrade”: transitioning from a crypto asset trading platform into a global multi-asset trading gateway.
