Gate Breaks into the Top Three, RWA Perpetuals May Become the Next Trump Card

The market never lacks hot topics; what truly deserves attention are sectors capable of sustained growth. CoinDesk data shows that RWA perpetual contract trading volume reached $602 billion in August, hitting a record high; Gate’s monthly trading volume reached $64.7 billion, surging 158% month-on-month, with its market share reaching 12.6%, successfully placing it among the global top three.
Gate’s stock perpetual trading volume also achieved monthly growth of over 300% for the third consecutive month, and this growth rate is quite interesting. Because it shows that RWA is not simply being driven by a one-off hot trend, but is continuously expanding users’ trading boundaries.
In the past, when discussing exchanges, we focused more on BTC and ETH trading volumes and derivatives rankings; in the future, we may also need to look at who can better bring traditional assets such as stocks, gold, crude oil, and indices on-chain. After all, what users truly want may not be “more coins,” but one account and one platform for trading more global assets.
