#SSV Glamsterdam Upgrade’s Underlying Technical Logic (ePBS Mechanism, Gas Repricing, L1 Scaling)

1. Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) Sector

Core logic: The Glamsterdam upgrade will extend the validation time window from 2 seconds to approximately 9 seconds and support parallel transaction processing. This significantly raises the requirements for validator node hardware and distributed coordination capabilities. By reducing the risk of single points of failure, DVT projects have become essential infrastructure for large staking service providers and solo stakers.

SSV Network (SSV): One of the leading projects in the DVT sector, focused on providing decentralized infrastructure for Ethereum validators and directly benefiting from the architectural upgrade requirements brought by ePBS.

Obol Network (OBOL): Another core DVT infrastructure provider dedicated to addressing single points of failure for Ethereum validators. It was officially required to participate in testing during the testnet phase of the Glamsterdam upgrade, such as Platåberget, demonstrating an extremely high degree of technical alignment.
