Garrett Jin: Bitcoin bulls are in an unfavorable position; the longer the bottoming phase lasts, the more likely support is to break.

Mars Finance reported that on September 13, Garrett Jin, an agent for the “BTC OG insider whale,” shared his market outlook, saying that Bitcoin bulls are currently in an unfavorable position. BTC has been stuck above $76,500, and he does not like this bottoming action. The longer it grinds, the more likely it is to break through this support and seek lower support, rather than reverse immediately. For Bitcoin to look somewhat stronger, it must first reclaim and hold above $78,300.

78.3K has become the bull-bear dividing line—keep a close eye on it.

Being stuck at this level is truly frustrating—neither rising nor falling, it’s the most draining.

Garrett’s take is pretty grounded: failing to reclaim 78.3K signals weakness, so don’t force a bullish call.

Grinding for a long time doesn’t necessarily mean it will break, but once it does, it triggers a chain reaction—put risk controls in place first.

This bottoming grind is exhausting; if 76.5K doesn’t break soon, the bulls will really lose patience.
