The tide rises from the high platform, and everyone hopes for a strong wind to break through ten thousand peaks, but only those who watch the water know that an undercurrent has already begun to stir. $ETH $BTC

Bitcoin moved sideways at high levels this week, seemingly gathering strength to climb to new heights, but in reality, its superficial heat was being drained from within. On Monday and Tuesday, longs and shorts repeatedly battled within a range, with the market waiting for the inflation data to settle. Traders chased rises and sold declines, trapped in a maze of volatility. “A profusion of flowers gradually dazzles the eye; only shallow grass can barely cover a horse’s hoof.” Amid the commotion, we chose our entry and exit points carefully, placing both long and short trades, refusing to fall in love with the illusion of a one-way market, steadily accumulating gains over two days while quietly awaiting a shift.

When Wednesday’s PPI data was released, thunder suddenly struck and the high platform collapsed.

The world still thought geopolitical tensions could support risk assets, but capital unexpectedly abandoned crypto for gold, leaving risk assets deprived of support. The dream of the bulls was shattered, and floating losses spread everywhere. “The mountain rain is coming, and the wind fills the tower; dark clouds press upon the city, threatening to topple it.” The market turned sharply downward. I had anticipated this, reducing high-level long positions first and entering short positions with the trend. In the volatility-driven whipsaw dominated by the bears, I did not stubbornly resist or blindly follow the crowd to buy the dip; I did not become greedy against the trend, and I dared to hold with it.

On Thursday, the market rebounded after falling, and many mistook its dying gasp for new life, rushing in to bet on a reversal.

This move was merely a weak rebound after the decline, with each high moving lower, forming a trap to lure in longs. “When the false is taken for the real, the real becomes false; where nothing is treated as something, something returns to nothing.” Although the technical pattern appeared to be recovering, the macro fundamentals concealed a chill. Seeing through the illusion of a false rise, I continued structuring short positions around the market structure, taking small profits off the table without letting a brief bullish candle distract me.

On Friday, as the market retested its lows, I seized the opportunity to position in long trades against the trend.

Although the broader trend had weakened, a rebound naturally has room to emerge where the decline is exhausted. “By the sunken boat, a thousand sails pass; before the ailing tree, ten thousand trees bloom.” I did not cling to a one-way bull or bear market, but simply seized opportunities in the market’s contest. I successfully took profits near the close, bringing the week to an end.

Looking back on the week, many were trapped by their fixation on gains and losses, chasing highs and buying dips, only to have their stops repeatedly swept. By observing the broader trend and maintaining restraint, one can advance and retreat freely amid volatility. Bitcoin captured a range of 17,308 points for the week, while Ethereum likewise captured 848 points.

“As worldly affairs are like a chess game, every round is new; one well-planned move is worth ten thousand pieces of gold.” Trading has never been about gambling on a momentary surge or plunge, but about assessing the timing and situation, knowing when to stop and when to advance, and remaining steady at the fishing platform amid the wind and waves. #CoinDesk披露GateRWA永续合约全球Top3 #8月核心CPI超预期 #美参议院发布新版CLARITY法案

You really are a cultured person—your writing is so eloquent! Are you a humanities student? A humanities student who can also trade crypto—impressive.
