China Mobile Cloud Unveils Heterogeneous Hybrid Inference System: Brain-Inspired Chips + Chinese-Made GPUs Break Through the Performance Bottleneck of a Single Architecture

Mars Finance reports that Du Yujian, technical director of China Mobile Cloud’s Brain-Inspired Computing and Optical Laboratory, unveiled a heterogeneous hybrid inference system for large model inference at the launch event of the 2026 China Computing Power Exhibition. The system adopts a “brain-inspired chip + domestically produced GPU” architecture and benchmarks against NVIDIA’s Vera Robin + Groq solution. It combines Lingxi Technology’s brain-inspired chips with Tianshu Zhixin GPUs. In the DeepSeek V4 Flash inference scenario, its performance is more than twice that of comparable GPU clusters, while operating costs are reduced by more than 40%. The system is also independently controllable. Du Yujian said that introducing brain-inspired computing power is equivalent to giving existing GPU resources “turbocharging.” (Cailian Press reporter Guo Songqiao)
