August mainstream CEX rankings are out, with Gate firmly holding onto the Top 4 spot. Congratulations—breaking into the Top 3 next year is within sight!

BlockBeats data is out: Gate's August spot trading volume was approximately $40 billion, while contract trading volume was approximately $285 billion, ranking 4th globally among mainstream CEXs in overall trading volume.

Trading volume continues to rise steadily, with the RWA perpetuals and stock derivatives sectors growing rapidly. Global users have surpassed 60 million, proof of reserves continues to be disclosed publicly, and the platform is steadily moving toward the top tier.

An exchange's strength has never been determined by trading volume alone.
Some prioritize trading volume and order book liquidity—low slippage for large trades is an essential requirement for traders;
some value product variety, with spot, contracts, RWA, U.S. stock tokens, and new token discovery all available in one place;
and many users put fund security, reserve transparency, and compliance progress first.

Different traders have completely different criteria for evaluating a platform.

When evaluating an exchange, which do you prioritize: trading volume and liquidity, the product matrix, or security and compliance?
