Bonk Guy Clarifies: He Was Not Paid by PONS and Is Not a Team Member; His Holdings Are Solely From Personal Trading

Abstract generation in progress

Mars Finance reported that on September 13, prominent trader Bonk Guy posted that he is not loyal to PONS or any other holdings or communities. He said he has never been paid by the PONS project team and is not a member of the project team, so his holding and support of PONS should not be understood as loyalty to the project.

Bonk Guy said he is bullish on PONS because of the fairness represented by the token and because he believes PONS offers on-chain traders an opportunity to create generational wealth. He views PONS as a trade that has not yet fully played out and expects its future market capitalization could still reach several billion dollars, regardless of whether the market currently recognizes its value.

He emphasized that the same principle applies to his other holdings: he is first and foremost a trader, loyal to no token or community, and will only choose trading opportunities that he believes offer the most asymmetric risk-reward profile.

On-chain data shows that Bonk Guy currently holds PONS worth $6.61 million, with a return of 9663%.

Loyal to nothing but profits—this guy has life all figured out.

Bonk Guy’s “liquidity mercenary” philosophy is quite interesting: loyalty is the most expensive liability on-chain, and he chooses to hold only asymmetry.

If he holds his position until PONS reaches a market cap of several billion, that would be legendary.

I’m jealous of the 9,663% return, but even more jealous of his mindset—he takes no sides, only sides with the math.

After seeing too many KOLs face backlash from project teams, this kind of “openly disclosed holdings + declaration of no vested interests” has instead become a rarity. If PONS really reaches a market cap of several billion, these words of his will be quoted repeatedly.
