GT Reclaims $9.39: Is the Next Move $10?
GT is back in focus.
GateToken is currently around $9.39 USDT, gaining approximately 3.18% over the past 24 hours. For me, the important part is not simply that GT is green today. The bigger question is whether this move can develop into a stronger trend and eventually push GT through the major psychological resistance at $10.
After recovering from the lower $6–$8 region, GT has gradually improved its market structure. Now the chart is approaching a level that could determine the next phase.
$10 Is the First Major Test
At $9.39, GT is only around 6.5% below $10.
That makes the $9.30–$9.40 area particularly interesting. If buyers can maintain momentum and continue defending higher prices, GT could soon challenge $10.
But I would not chase every green candle.
What I want to see is a clean breakout above $10 followed by a successful retest. If $10 changes from resistance into support, the market could start looking toward:
$11 → $12 → $13 → $15
Above $15, the longer-term $17–$20 zone becomes interesting.
From $9.39, a move to $10 would be approximately 6.5%, $12 around 27.8%, $13 around 38.4%, $15 around 59.7%, $17 around 81.0%, and $20 around 113.0%.
These are scenario calculations, not guarantees.
Why GT Has a Bigger Story
The technical setup is only one part of my GT thesis.
Gate has reported that approximately 189.95 million GT had been burned by Q2 2026, representing around 63.32% of the original 300 million GT supply. Gate also reported approximately 2.57 million GT burned during Q2 2026, with a disclosed value above $17.75 million.
That is a major change in the token's supply profile.
Burns alone cannot guarantee appreciation. Demand still matters. But when a significantly reduced supply is combined with ecosystem expansion and increasing utility, the scarcity narrative becomes much more interesting.
GT also has utility across the Gate ecosystem and serves as a gas token on Gate Chain, giving it an on-chain role beyond simple exchange-token speculation.
The 60M User Ecosystem
Another factor I continue watching is Gate's scale.
Gate has announced that its global registered user base has surpassed 60 million.
Of course, 60 million users does not mean 60 million GT buyers. But it demonstrates the size of the ecosystem surrounding GT.
Gate is also expanding its product range across crypto trading, Web3 services, stocks, ETFs and other financial products. A broader ecosystem can potentially create more opportunities for GT utility and demand.
My GT Roadmap
My roadmap is simple:
$9.00–$9.20: first major support zone
$9.39: current reference
$10: key breakout level
$11: next resistance
$12: major confirmation zone
$13–$15: stronger bullish expansion
$17–$20: high-end long-term scenario
On the downside, losing $9 could bring $8.50, followed by $8.00 into focus. If broader market weakness becomes severe, $7.50 and the $6–$6.50 historical support region would deserve attention.
Final View
My view on GT remains bullish but conditional.
The current $9.39 price and +3.18% daily move show renewed momentum, but the real confirmation comes above $10.
I would rather see GT break, retest and defend a major level than buy a sudden vertical move.
For me, the sequence is clear:
Hold the structure → break $10 → defend the retest → target $11–$12 → watch $13–$15.
The $17–$20 area remains a longer-term possibility rather than an immediate prediction.
GT has an interesting combination of price momentum, reduced supply, ecosystem utility, Gate Chain integration and a growing platform.
But crypto remains volatile.
Manage position size, define invalidation before entering, and never treat a forecast as a guarantee.
GT at $9.39 is getting closer to a decision point. The $10 battle may be the next chapter.
