USELESS Is Falling Hard — But Is This Capitulation or Distribution?

$USELESS is currently showing the kind of price action that deserves attention, not because a token is down sharply, but because the decline is happening alongside meaningful market activity.

The price is around $0.21127, down approximately 12.27%, while visible activity is around 8.94M. A double-digit decline combined with this level of participation tells me that there is real market engagement behind the move.

My current view is simple:

BEARISH / WATCH.

I am not treating this as an automatic buying opportunity just because the price has already dropped significantly.

That is one of the biggest mistakes traders can make during a fast decline. A token falling 10%, 15%, or even more does not automatically mean it has become “cheap.” Sometimes a large red move is simply the market revealing that sellers are still willing to accept lower prices.

The more important question for me is:

Can buyers actually change the behavior of the market?

Right now, the answer is not confirmed.

If $USELESS continues moving lower while activity remains strong, that would suggest sellers are still active and the market has not yet found convincing demand. In that situation, I would be more comfortable staying in watch mode rather than assuming that the decline has created value.

But there is another possibility.

A sharp decline with heavy participation can sometimes develop into capitulation.

Capitulation happens when selling pressure becomes intense enough that weaker holders finally exit, potentially creating the conditions for sellers to become exhausted. However, I would not label every major red move as capitulation.

That distinction matters.

For me, the market needs to show evidence before I change the view.

I would want to see the decline stabilize first.

Then I would watch how buyers respond.

If price stops making aggressive lower moves, selling pressure begins to fade, and stronger buying activity appears, the structure could become much more interesting. A stabilization phase followed by improving demand would tell me more than simply looking at the size of the previous drop.

On the other hand, if price keeps printing weakness and every attempted recovery is quickly rejected, that would make the distribution interpretation more convincing.

So the debate is not really:

“Has USELESS fallen enough?”

The better question is:

“Has the selling pressure actually changed?”

That is the difference between chasing a falling price and waiting for confirmation.

At around $0.21127, I am paying attention to how the market behaves from here rather than trying to predict the next candle.

The 8.94M activity makes the move difficult to ignore, but activity alone does not tell us whether buyers or sellers will ultimately gain control.

My approach remains cautious:

First stabilization.
Then confirmation.
Then stronger buying demand.

Until that happens, I would classify the current structure as bearish/watch, with capitulation still unconfirmed.

Maybe this is the beginning of seller exhaustion.

Maybe it is simply another stage of distribution.

The next reaction from buyers should tell us much more.

What do you think — is $USELESS approaching capitulation, or are sellers still distributing into every bounce?

Not financial advice. Always do your own research.
