This move by Chengdu is solid: it is providing real cash subsidies to AI companies, with small and micro businesses able to receive a 50% subsidy, which is quite attractive.

30-day public comment period. Chengdu friends working in AI, speak up quickly—don’t wait until the final draft is set to regret it.

With a total of $100 million and a cap of $2 million per company, it seems the major industry players won’t get enough, while small and medium-sized enterprises will have greater opportunities.

Who came up with the name “token voucher”? It sounds like an in-game item, but the policy itself is quite substantive.

Don’t make the claim process too complicated. Hopefully the redemption efficiency can keep up; otherwise, the vouchers will become worthless.
