U.S. stocks opened higher after the CPI release, with optical communications and memory chip stocks rising across the board.

Mars Finance reports that on September 11, according to market data from BIT (bit.com), following the release of the CPI data, the three major U.S. stock indexes opened higher across the board. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.02%, the S&P 500 rose 0.84%, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.77%.

U.S. optical communications and memory chip stocks opened higher across the board. Coherent and Marvell Technology rose more than 3%, SK Hynix and Intel rose more than 2%, and Micron Technology, Seagate Technology, and SanDisk rose more than 1%. Oracle rose more than 7% after its adjusted first-quarter revenue exceeded expectations.
