#ZECPlungesOver13%

ZEC has taken a sharp hit, dropping more than 13% as the recent rally runs into serious selling pressure.

The move is especially notable because Zcash had just experienced an extraordinary surge, with ZEC recently trading above the $1,100–$1,200 area after gaining roughly 50% in a week.

This kind of reversal is a good reminder of how quickly momentum can change after an aggressive rally. When a coin moves that fast, traders who entered late can become vulnerable to profit-taking, liquidations and cascading stop losses.

For me, the important question now isn't simply whether ZEC is falling. It is whether buyers can establish a strong base after the pullback.

I would be watching the $1,000 psychological level closely. Holding above a major round-number zone could give bulls an opportunity to rebuild momentum, while a sustained breakdown could signal that the market needs a deeper correction before attempting another move higher.

The broader market is also under pressure, with Bitcoin recently falling below $77,000 and risk appetite weakening across crypto.

ZEC's recent strength was impressive, but this pullback shows why chasing vertical moves can be dangerous. After a major breakout, protecting capital and waiting for confirmation can be just as important as finding the next entry.

Strong rallies create opportunities — but they also create very sharp corrections.

I’ll be watching ZEC closely to see whether this is simply a healthy reset or the beginning of a deeper trend reversal.
