Gate Makes It into the Mainstream CEX Top 4—Are 60 Million Users Just the Beginning?

Competition among crypto exchanges has long been about more than simply comparing trading volume. User base, product diversity, liquidity, security systems, and global reach are jointly determining the overall strength of a CEX.
Gate has now entered the mainstream CEX Top 4, and this position carries real weight. Especially after surpassing 60 million global users, the platform has built a considerable user base.
What is even more noteworthy is that Gate is not focusing solely on traditional spot and futures trading, but is continually expanding its product offerings. From on-chain Meme trading and RWA perpetuals to stock event contracts, U.S. stock options, and products such as Idle Money Bao, it is clearly attempting to cover more trading scenarios.
This means competition among CEXs is evolving from “exchanges” into “comprehensive financial gateways.”
Of course, Top 4 is not the end point. After growing its user base, the key to maintaining its ranking over the long term will be whether Gate can continue improving the trading experience, liquidity, and product innovation.
So I would rather view this Top 4 position as a milestone.
The 60 million users are already here. What comes next is whether Gate can retain them for the long term.
