Gate is no longer just competing for attention — it is competing for position among the major global centralized exchanges.

Recent exchange data shows Gate continuing to strengthen its position across both spot and derivatives markets. In July, Gate reported $35.8B in spot trading volume with a 4.93% market share, ranking 4th globally, while futures volume reached $276B. Gate also maintained a strong position in open interest, highlighting the growing activity and liquidity across its derivatives ecosystem.

What stands out to me is that this growth is not coming from one product alone. Gate is expanding across spot trading, futures, tokenized stocks, Web3, and other financial products, creating a much broader trading ecosystem for users.

The competition among major CEXs is getting tighter, and rankings can change quickly as trading volumes shift. But consistently staying around the global top tier is an important signal.

For traders, the real value is not simply being called a “Top 4” exchange. It is having deeper liquidity, more markets, broader asset access, and an ecosystem that continues to evolve.

Gate’s growth shows that the CEX race is far from settled. The next stage will be about who can combine scale, innovation, liquidity, security, and global accessibility most effectively.

For me, that is where Gate’s progress becomes interesting. 🚀
