Apple Is Releasing a Foldable iPhone Tonight, and My First Reaction Wasn’t Apple. 😂

It was—
MU and SNDK.

At tonight’s Apple event, the market is waiting for the first foldable iPhone.
But while I was looking at the news, I noticed something pretty interesting:
Rising memory prices have already started affecting the cost of the new iPhone.

That makes things interesting.
A few days ago, I was still saying that MU and SNDK had risen way too much and that I didn’t dare chase them.
Then I took another look—
Even a major customer like Apple, which sells hundreds of millions of devices a year, is starting to be affected by rising storage prices.
😂😂

So tonight, I’m not just interested in whether the phone folds.
I’m more interested in hearing what Apple says about:
Pricing, costs, and supply.

If even Apple is starting to struggle with rising storage prices…
Then this rally in MU and SNDK may really be more than something we can explain away with just “they’ve gone up too much.”

After tonight’s event, I’ll come back and revisit my answer.

Keeping an eye out for a post-press-conference recap to see whether the supply chain was mentioned.

I didn't dare chase it before either (+1); now I dare even less, but I'm itching to jump in.

If Apple raises prices, will Android foldables follow suit? A domino effect.

Honestly, the storage price hike narrative is much sexier than foldables.

How high SNDK can surge this time depends entirely on the big customers’ stance.

Foldable phones are rumored every year, but storage price hikes are the real deal.

The bargaining power of hundreds of millions of devices still can’t hold it down—just how tight must supply and demand be?

Foldable screens aren’t important; what matters is whether storage cost will be mentioned tonight.
