A breakout is NOT confirmed just because price moves above resistance.

Before entering, check 3 things:

1️⃣ Spot volume should expand
2️⃣ Open interest should support the move without becoming extreme
3️⃣ Price should hold the breakout level after the first push

If price breaks resistance but volume fades and OI explodes, it can be a liquidity trap.

Trade the confirmation, not the candle.

This logic also applies to $APT: new public chains are more volatile, so confirmation matters even more.

I’ve been burned before: I chased a breakout, but the volume failed to follow through, and I got trapped at the top.

The third point is the hardest to gauge. How do you determine the timing window for the first pullback?

Trade the confirmation, not the candle — this sentence belongs on your monitor.

$SUI has had quite a few breakouts recently, and filtering by this standard would probably eliminate a lot of noise.

Learned something—turns out breakouts also need volume confirmation; you can't just focus on candlesticks.
