Hi everyone, U.S. stocks started trading with volatility again today. The Dow opened down about 0.57%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq opened near flat and then weakened in early trading. The market is still digesting Friday’s stronger-than-expected employment data, while tensions in the Middle East have pushed up oil prices, putting inflation and interest rates back in focus.

At the moment, I am paying particular attention to the following stocks👇
📌 $MU : Stronger in premarket trading; next, we’ll see whether buying momentum can continue after the open and lift the memory sector.
📌 $SNDK : Also up in premarket trading, with the added catalyst of being added to the S&P 100 on 9/21, so it is worth continuing to monitor.
📌 BE: Will be added to the S&P 500 on 9/21. It moved higher in premarket trading after the announcement, but watch for volatility after investors chase the move.
I will still focus on memory stocks such as MU and SNDK, but we still need to see whether they can hold after the open and whether buyers step in on a pullback before planning our next moves!
In addition, major CPI/PPI data will be released this week. In terms of trading, I will continue to cut weak positions and hold strong ones. If I want to add, I’ll wait for a pullback to confirm support, and if the price breaks below the originally set stop-loss level, I’ll exit according to discipline. Volatile markets are an even greater test of stock selection and patience, so I’ll continue to monitor the performance of the broader market and individual stocks🔥

Stop-loss discipline is easy to talk about, but when the moment actually comes, few people can follow through.

Your stock-picking logic is quite clear: memory and index adjustments as the two main themes. I’ve learned from it.

The Middle East oil price factor is such a nuisance—it’s pushing inflation expectations higher again, making the Fed even less willing to signal easing.

The Dow Jones opening down 0.57% is actually not a big deal; the key is whether there is sufficient buying support afterward.

This week is data-heavy, so keep positions under control and wait for a clear direction before making a move for greater safety.

BE will also be added to the S&P 500 on 9/21; with two stocks entering the index on the same day, market funds will be split.

MU’s premarket move is pretty strong; after the open, we’ll see whether the volume can keep up.
