CoinShares’ James Butterfill says fiscal concerns helped drive Bitcoin from the low $60Ks toward $80K, with BTC trading increasingly like a hard-asset hedge amid concerns over government debt.

According to Butterfill, a convincing move above $80K could require either a resolution to the Iran conflict or a further decline in confidence in U.S. government debt.

The key question now is whether BTC can turn this macro-driven rally into a sustained breakout.

It will take macro signals to clear the 80K hurdle.

The key is whether the rally can turn into a breakout; otherwise, it’s another false breakout.
