$BTC DECISION ZONE

Bitcoin is trading near $79.1K after failing to hold above $80K.

Bullish trigger: close above $80.4K
TP1: $82K
TP2: $83.5K
SL: $78.7K

Bearish warning: a clean loss of $78.7K exposes the lower support region and invalidates this breakout idea.

The long-term scarcity case remains unchanged because Bitcoin’s issuance is capped at 21 million coins. The short-term trade, however, depends on liquidity and confirmation around $80K.

Scarcity is the thesis. Price structure is the trigger. Educational only.

Setting the SL at 78.7 is a bit tight—it could get swept by a wick. Consider loosening it to around 78.5.

TP2 at 83.5 feels conservative; if it truly breaks above the previous high, an impulsive push to 85+ is not out of the question.

Educational only—this disclaimer is hilarious. Those who know, know.

The long-term scarcity narrative remains unchanged, but this range is indeed difficult to trade right now, so keep positions light.

This setup is textbook: a false breakout lures in longs, then reverses and wipes them out—veteran traders know it all too well.
