Profits are worth showing off, but losses are even more worth reviewing! The Gate event contract challenge is here
I used to love posting profit screenshots from my trades—sharing them on social media when I made money, and wishing I could just turn off my phone when I lost.
But what I find interesting about Gate’s event contract screenshot-sharing challenge this time is that it not only asks everyone to share the results, but also encourages them to share their trade direction, basis for their judgment, and review process.
That is actually closer to real trading.
For example, if I predict that a certain BTC event contract will rise, I shouldn’t just say, “I think it will go up.” Instead, I should answer three questions: How long is the prediction period? Why am I bullish? What would prove my judgment wrong?
Once you write out all these questions, you’ll find that trading suddenly feels much less like mysticism.
Of course, event contracts still carry risks, and an incorrect prediction means bearing the corresponding outcome. So I prefer participating with a small position, treating it as market-judgment training rather than putting all my chips on a single answer.
After all, experts aren’t right every time—they’re able to keep their account breathing when they’re wrong.
What’s your answer this time? See you in the comments.
