Candlestick charts can lie, but your trading logic must not fool you!

The Gate event contract trade-sharing challenge is underway. Seeing more and more users share their trading views, I find this more interesting than simply watching prices rise or fall.
Because what is truly worth watching has never been the phrase “BTC is going up,” but rather the question that follows: Why?
My trading habit is to first determine the forecast period, then identify the key variables. For short-term trades, I look at price structure and market sentiment, while for the medium term, I focus more on macro data, market liquidity, and trending narratives.
If you are bullish, you need to be clear about the basis for the rise; if you are bearish, you must also know where the risks are coming from.
More importantly, you must review your trades after they end. Making the right call does not mean the strategy was perfect; making the wrong call does not mean you cannot succeed next time.
So sharing your trades is not about “showing off,” but more like leaving a timestamp for your own trading.
Look back a few days later, and you will discover whether your thinking at the time was logical or simply driven by emotion.
