Despite the prevailing bearish sentiment and macroeconomic headwinds, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have just recorded their most significant single-day inflow in nearly nine months, pulling in a whopping $730.8 million on September 3rd alone. The lion's share of this capital injection came from BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which accounted for $454 million of the total, reaffirming the asset management giant's dominant position in the crypto ETF space. Other major contributors included Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) and Ark Invest's 21Shares ETF, which collectively added another $200 million. This influx of institutional capital is particularly noteworthy given that it occurred against a backdrop of rising interest rates and a strengthening dollar, suggesting that large-scale investors are viewing the current dip as a compelling entry point for long-term accumulation. On-chain analytics firm CryptoQuant noted that ETF inflows are now outpacing daily Bitcoin mining production by a factor of nearly 7 to 1, which could create a significant supply squeeze in the coming weeks if the trend persists. Market strategists are interpreting this as a bullish divergence – even though retail sentiment has turned deeply pessimistic, the "smart money" is quietly building positions at these discounted levels. If this pace of institutional buying continues, it could provide the necessary fuel for Bitcoin to reclaim the $85,000 handle once the macro environment stabilizes.

IBIT alone absorbed 454M—BlackRock’s control is truly terrifying.

$730 million flowed in over a single day—this isn’t an ETF, it’s a liquidity vacuum.

Retail investors are bearish while institutions are buying heavily—the classic script is playing out again.

Is a supply squeeze coming? ETFs bought 7x the miners’ output—think about that.

Institutional money is the real money. While retail investors are still cursing, institutions have already bought the dip.
